most expensive car

Classic cars often become antiques that cost so towering up to hundreds of millions of dollars. One of the classic cars were branded Bugatti Type 57S Atalante production in 1937.
In an auction in Paris on February 7, 2009, a bidders bid Rp39 billion. A very high price for a used car class. In fact, Most Expensive Journal recently noted, the auction becomes the most expensive used car sales in the world.

Why this car could sell up to Rp39 billion? At auction, this car made in 1937 with the original unknown odometer only 42,300 miles. Odo is very low for the car’s age over 70 years.
Bugatti 57S Atalante ordered by the Earl Howe, a former Navy officer and British politicians. This car was sent on June 9, 1937 from Sorel Bugatti agent for the British. A month after that he was making modifications. Howe added a new bumper, luggage rack, and mirror that is very unique.
After eight years, Howe sold to JP Tingay. He then changed the specifications of SC with the addition of Marshall K200 supercharger. Did not last long, in 1950 he sold to Ferguson, and then switch to Lord Ridley in 1954.
In 1955, Dr. Carr bought the car. But a few years later, he put it in the garage and locked it. This car has never been touched since the time of this vehicle tax expires, ie in December 1960. This car was discovered in 2008, when Carr’s nephew garage disassemble for cleaning.
